Thanks Brian - thought it might be but wasn\'t sure.

I am having trouble with the same clue. Thought ARIA maybe or AVID .. Line is often RAIL or RY, Big Hit... STAR... then I am thinking an Italian Musical notation but drew a blank. Finally thinking AXIS = line .. then went a googling and found this site :D

I think it's because six is a big hit when you roll dice. Six up is xis.
