I’ve almost finished but I’m having difficulty with 6d Queen departs riding a capital chariot (8). and 4d jack tar misses sun(he works inside)(6)
I’d appreciate a few solving hints please

Cocobunny, re 6d. Def. is 'chariot'.
An abbreviation for 'queen' + a + abb for 'departs' + the name of a European capital (place, not money)

4d. Def. is the words in brackets.
Abb. for 'Jack' + a synonym for a 'tar' minus an abb. for 'sun'
