10 down -harsh noisiness- should be RIOTOUSNESS
but this will not fit if
16 across-difficult to catch is ELUSIVE
Around this we have
6 across BLACKCURRANT
20 across VIRTUOUS
9 down CREATURE
11 DOWN amidships
