a flying carp perhaps (6)
spread a music session (5)
sounds like a vampire slayer (5)
a crazy man follows rows of bricks and mortar (6)
any help gratefully appreciated

Vampire slayer - steak

Are you sure sounds like a vampire slayer is (5) and not (6) BUFFET

4 is buffet (buffy the vampire slayer)

Genius Colin for steak - was trying to rhyme everything with Buffy! Jam only has three letters.

JAM looks like a good answer for no 4, and BUFFET for no.5, but they both have the wrong number of letters. Sorry.
