Looks like NAIN (they both have 'na' in) but I can't find an appropriate definition in Chambers.

Don't have the paper but 7D looks like LOYAL = FIRM using the tips = end letters of part of the clue, eh?

This one is a real brute. I've got 10ac MYNA and 20ac NAIN with the help of this forum, I already had 7d LOYAL and 14ac BAWL. But I can't make any moer progress. Will any kind person give me another word to help me on?

For example, 2d "To be a great success match report should include article" (2,4,1,4) looks as if it should be GO DOWN A BOMB, but I can't fit it to the clue (unless GO DOWN = match, and BOMB = report - but surely not)
