27a. Disc in barrel in compound. (5) ???u?

Thanks terry ..... just been told on the AB 27a is Album. Please can you explain Iliac ? Thanks ;o)

In command = ic.
trouble = ail, trouble up = lia,
Ic covering lia = iliac.
iliac = trojan.

The other one is barrel = tun around ep (record).
tepun is a modern word dreamed up by computer nerds. it is a compound word made from TEchnical PUNdit. meaning someone whizz at something techno. I don't know whetther it is right or not.

For 27ac I have album: disc = album, compound = alum, b= barrel

The t in the word you are advising does not fit in the words in the perimeter

If your last post was referring to the "t" in tepun,no worries. I'm sure album is the correct answer. I don't do this crossword and have no idea what the given letters are. I just came up with tepun and was surprised that it is a word (of sorts) which sort of fits the clue.
