Just wondereing if I've got this last clue right. it fits, but not too sure. 14dn In assault, branches robbed here - chap before court, then in prison. (6,4) The answer I have is lignum wood. Anyone tell me if it's correct and why as I don't quite follow the path to the answer.

The answer comes from BIRD (prison) around NAM (chap up) and WOO (court)
