Just for my own peace of mind, can someone explain to me the need to use 14ac in the phrases? I found 16 solutions which to my mind adequately cover all the phrases, eight of which contain 20ac and 4 which have 19d.
Although I have filled the grid, I do confess I did not understand the clue for 14ac, and also I cannot see what the first word constructed using the missing letters is.
