'Kill Bill' is correct! The Dutch city clue is based around a homophone - Enigmatist seems to use 'radio', 'broadcast' and similar to indicate homophones. Find the homophone for one of the words in the clue and you will have all but the first letter of the solution.

...and 17 d is a female name. The clue says "like us", and we're ?u?a?.
Don't be to concerned about the phrases, as you don't enter them as part of the solution - they're mainly an aid to solutions.

lol - thanks AJT 17A now makes sense - but if 20A is the link common to all phrases still leaves me baffled with 17D

I seem to be finished - now find myself with the same prob as you Halloway - 1 and 14ac presumably with 20ac and 19dn should make a phrase - my other phrases are 5 of song lyrics a book and a well known philosophical statement.

I need a bit of a kickstart!

4a - Juicy producer to get titled lady's head turned (4.5)

22d One cheers up, breaking into 80's band (4,1,2)

I know nothing about 80's bands!

4a - think about how one might get juice from a fruit.

22d - I would think everyone's heard of this particular 80s duo! Begins with 'W'.

Thank you Halloway

Ah it's a duo not a band. I should be able to find them now.

Hi Halloway/AJT - any progress on the eighth phrase?

Also , don't quite get 4a - should have an "e" left over - when the lady's head is turned I still have "in"
