I've just seen it on the Sunday Times website....

I feel as if I'm always complaining, but "oh dear" is right. That does not deserve to be called a mephisto. Yes, on the Times crossword club website they ask for comments on what you would like to change in the club.

How strange the paper has this as a Mike Laws grid but the website shows it as PMcK...

I don't know where you found it on the website. I subscribe to their crossword club online, and there it's given as Mike Laws
