Thank you for your help also. I knew it was something to do with 'York', but I guess my ignorance shows in that I couldn't get 'Yorick'.

Hi again.

How I see it ...

'off-break' is a type of delivery of the ball from a spin bowler, in cricket.
'off' = (go) 'Out to' ... from the clue.
'break' = (an) 'opening' ... from the clue.

'galleons' = (a type of) 'ships'.
'gall' = (a) 'sore'.
'eons' = 'times'.
