I've got sun simply because the sun is a star.

I must say I like the tee shirts. I've got three now and my grandchildren want to inherit them!!

Thanks, gravitas, why turn tho? Yes, the tee-shirts are coveted, I've got three too, i can only wear one occasionally tho - a badge I could proudly wear everywhere!

Relaxing, chilling - anagram of 'a girnel' and 'x', by.

Re 5d, I took the two dashes to mean subtract two letters from turn. That leaves u and n, to which I added s for setter. Far fetched?
In any case, son is not a star.
I don't like badges and prefer to stick to tradition.
