Am I the only one who can't finish? Am left with an impossible 6d crisp and crumbly (and I've got ?b?rt)? Any help?

P.S. To flummoxed: Nithsdale Road and Eglinton Street are on the south side of Glasgow.

Is your B definite? If not, Short would work - crisp as in terse and crumbly as in shortbread!

It is not clear.

If Grannyd had Yaboo instead of Yahoo, we could get the H for my suggested Short!

Thanks, scorpiojo. I hadn't seen the crossword itself, just these few clues.

Thanks, stevie - at least we've got rid of the B now. Short appears to be fine.

Yes, thanks all! I had yobbo. And short is perfect.
