Can anyone explain two clues for me?

1d One's own special rum.

Presumably "peculiar" but I cannot see how it works. It appears to be an anagram of the last two words less the first and last letters. Where is the indicator of an anagram and what is the clue definition?

25a One-time prisoner avoiding judgment in Prohibition.

I get this to be "exclusion", the definition being "Prohibition". I can see ex-con but am struggling to get "lusi" from "avoiding judgment" or just "judgment". Any suggestions?

I thought 1D was just a triple definition - one's own, special and rum are all meanings of 'peculiar'.

Thanks Mr Rogue. So the judgement is "conclusion" and the removal of the "con" represents the prisoner avoiding it. That's an unusual construction but I get it. Thanks.

Yes I noticed that but then there's the fact that there's an anagram hidden within.

I think the almost anagram is just a piece of misdirection?
