Keeping watch over party in Africa (10)

O?S?R?A?C?

I can think of two words that would fit the definition and the crossers. Both include "over" and an African party, but I don't see where the other three letters come from, and hence what is the final letter.

Any hints, please?

Hi Chris

I think it is a a 7 letter word for watch- begins O and ends e the 3 letter party is contained within (or over) that word.

The definition is keeping

The material is a fabric. End of case = the usual in crosswords, after a four-letter word for ''taken to court'.

10 The definition is Advantage - from a five-letter word that can mean stuff/cram, with 'not won' indicating.....

A puzzlement and a possiblevel spoiler alert ... I finished it without help for once but 19d In centre, a twitter handle (5) flummoxes me. There's TREAT in the middle but not knowing anything about Twitter but the word Tweet and the idiot in the White House that sends them, can some kind soul enlighten me?

I think it's just treat, handle - the twitter itself doesn't mean anything.
