10a Horned animal from Emerald Isle? One runs away.
R-A-D. Could it be 'riald'. Never heard of it and letters look strange. Grateful for help.

Hi Chaz.

I think "with engineers starting, site proceeds" is REVENUE(proceeds) = RE(Royal Engineers) + VENUE(site).

Hi again.

I thnk "what's sour when peeled? Could be a lemon!" may be WASHOUT(a dud/lemon) = anagram of WHATS + OU('sour' peeled, ie outer letters removed).
