Parsing help with the following please!
48a A bank with billions for capital? Hardly. Answer I think is BARELY but can't see why.
Likewise 37d Horse runs on railway, going for a nag - HARRY?
And 42d Position of Nottinghams's workers in part? - PLACEMENT?

42 Lace men, Nottingham's workers, inside Pt, part.

48 Billions for capital = B + A, a, in clue + Rely, bank.

I should have added...
Placement = Position
Barely = Hardly.

I think Harry, nag, is fine. It's H for horse, R for Runs, Ry for Railway + A in clue. I'm not great at parsing - sorry!

That's what I thought but not the best! Many thanks!

I think it's a rather clunky clue - the 'going for a' seems to indicate moving them (runs on railway/R RY) to after the 'a'. Well, that's all I can come up with!

Clunky sums it up nicely!
