Well, I did get something right on Sunday.

I surmised that Saturday's having been in my opinion quite horrid, today's might be a bit easier, and as I've just finished.........

I apologise for the lack of humility.

Thanks, Bear - but I found today's a little disappointing as it was just too straightforward!

Chambers defines 'armpit' as 'a hollow' and defines 'depression' as 'a hollow', so I think it's fine.

Umh! A horse is a quadruped as is an elephant but a horse is not an elephant. Hope I find today's puzzle more to my ability when I get round to it.

I know what you mean - but to me an armpit IS a hollow, IS a depression!

An "armpit", Malone?
An "oxter" surely!
