Farm implement cut for six by an old schoolboy.

Assume VI for six. Harrow is a farm implement, & Harrovian is an old boy of Harrow; but this would replace the W [from harrow] with an N [from Harrovian].

Hi.

Another way of reading it would be HARRO('harrow' less the W) + VI(six) + AN('an' from the clue).
