It's quiet here right now, so here's a cryptic clue for anyone listening (no letters given):

   1. In this to a degree? (3)

Hi Dave.

Can you explain 'arc'?
It's not what I thought, but if it works as an answer who am I to argue?

My first thought was arc - how about 'uni'?

I see your angle on that answer and it does work!

But ... I did have a more cryptic (not necessarily better) answer in mind.

Hi Crypto.

'uni' ... that's another great answer - and, again, not the one that I had thought of!

This making-up-a-clue-in-a-quiet-moment business is more tricky than I anticipated.

There's still another answer (at least!)....

How about Tad. A very small amount or degree...derived from (T)o A (D)egree

Maybe Chrisg ... but wouldn't all 3 letters for 'tad' usually come from words not including 'Degree' - as, in your interpretation, 'degree' is the defining word for the answer? I'm not sure about this.

It's another one that I didn't see myself though and you're closest in method to the answer I intended - so keep 'em coming please!
