Rossim, thanks - but those really don't appeal to me! I think one of the threads involves setters explaining their clues as they give them - I feel much of the enjoyment is lost then.

I can see your point.

I think it's Clueless where the setter often asks for the parsing as he/she is totally responsible for picking the winner. A big responsibility which is why I don't participate in that one. I don't feel experienced enough and feel I might miss a gem!

I prefer Peer review where everyone who sets a clue has a vote.

Thanks again, Rossim. I looked at Peer Review a few times - the winning entry was often something I didn't like, didn't think was the worthiest winner! Democracy definitely trumps my personal opinion, so I'll steer clear.
