Can anyone help me with the last clue please?


4d One speaking affectedly about utensil (6)

M ? N ? E ? I did wonder if the answer could be mincer which fulfils the utensil aspect but not the speaking affectedly. Many thanks.

Chambers Dictionary has "speak affectedly" under "mince".
