Good afternoon.

I've got to over halfway with this and am wrestling on personfully, but one is annoying me :
28D - Horn of Africa very posh, Zulu with high value housing (8)
?U?U???A

The only answer I can come up with that bears any resemblance to any of the clue is SUBURBIA but I'm unconvinced by this. Any better suggestions, please?

Vuvuzela, that noisy horn, musical instrument, used at the Olympics.

V, very, U, posh x 2 + Z, Zula and E-la, ela, the high value (note, musical).

Thanks very much to all who replied.

I'd quite managed to forget that particularly horrid noise, not to mention the word.

No doubt I'll be back........

You're welcome, bear. I was proud of myself for getting that one - and for being able to parse it!

Dear Malone

The parsing was particularly sans pareil - & well over my level which relies chiefly on guesswork......

Sorry Malone, but your parsing is overly complex and, I believe, wrong!
Better, in my view is:
VUZ = very; posh; Zulu
Surrounded by (In housing) anagram of 'value' where 'high' = 'drunk' - hence jumbled letters.

Ive got vuvuzela = horn of (South) Africa
v- very
u - posh
+ anagram of "value"

I'd taken "high" as the anagrind?
