I think I know the answer but cannot parse it, so explanations please.
Phoney speech from Spooner's heyday came across (9)
Think it's 'summerset' as in somersault/somerset but that is not a Spoonerism and sponey feetch doesn't make sense either. Heyday could mean summer. Why 'set'? My brain hurts!!! Thanks in advance.
