I am still struggling with one clue. There are 44 possible answers and I cannot parse this at all so explanations as to how you arrived at your answer would be appreciated......

a skit besides being a "take-off" (parody) can also be a bad film, often made by amateurs - second grade - not good

Many thanks Cerasus and Malone. It didn't mention a second rate (bad) film in my dictionary...hence the confusion.
