I don't understand what a glockenspiel has to with the kitchen!

is there a clue or are you just stating a fact?

Hi.

I don't know the clue but, assuming the answer is, 'glockenspiel' and 'kitchen' appears in the clue, I'd note that 'the kitchen' is used by crossword compilers to mean the percussion section of an orchestra (in which a glockenspiel might feature).

Please would you give fuller info if possible in future?
