Banjul in Gambia is a corruption of Bang julo, the fibres used in rope making, if that's any help.

Why is Elizabeth asking questions from a quiz when a) it only arrived on Saturda; b. the answers don't have to be in until 9th July. (Plenty of time to do her own research). c) contestants have been asked not to ask questions on sites like these.
