I don't recall seeing this setter before. A neat puzzle, nice concept. The solving becomes a lot quicker once you realise the relationship between the thematic answers and the unclued entries.

Indeed. I had the final answer before I'd sorted out some of the minutiae. I've only just worked out where two components of the unclued entries come from, which revealed two wrong entries. A few tough clues here and there. I still don't see how 10a works.

On the whole not much easier than Schadenfreude last week.

Thanks Meursault, Fragments distracted me for hours until I got the right answer, I just missed the wordplay. I should also read the full definition in Chambers for some words - i.e. Lob
