Both this and today's Times cryptic prize puzzle were excellent crosswords with very straightforward "do-able" clues. This is only my 3rd Mephisto so I am v pleased with myself completing it without having to ask for any help. What did everyone else think?

When I opened the paper and saw the setter's name I groaned as I anticipated a long struggle.
As it turned out it was barely a 30 minute exercise, and I was left wondering whether I was pleased or not.

Huh, that's nothing, I did them both in 25 mins.

I think he must have read his bad press and reformed. Azed was also a very easy one today.

EV was also much easier than the last couple of weeks.

They must be father's day presents.

How chauvinistic of you K - at least two of the posts in this thread are from women.
