Have a couple I can't parse easily.

15a Cryptically, pair of braces already taken (6,3)
I assume it is spoken for (already taken), but why the pair of braces?

23a Tempo ebbing and flowing - that's far out! (4,5)
If this is Deep Space, I can see the pace for tempo but the deeps? (speed backwards perhaps?)

Hi Graham, I read them as:-

15a A brace is 2, so a pair of braces would be four but 'Spoken' as 'For'.

23a Tempo is both SPEED and PACE and if you look at DEEP SPACE you see SPEED written backwards (Ebbing) and PACE going forwards (Flowing).
