not a crossword but would appreciate any help with this clue.
One changes tail moan+stationary weight. (4 words)
I have got as far as the last 3 words which I think are "wine and Stilton" but am stuck on the first. any ideas please?

The wine I associate with Stilton is port. Can you connect "port" with "one changes tail"? I can't!

I agree with you but can't make a connection, it's driving me mad as I know it must be obvious

I'm beginning to wonder if there's a misprint somewhere.
Port is a nautical term for left and when sailing you change tack.
However, that doesn't seem to help!

Rossim, in computer terminology does "port" not mean "change" from one device to another?
I could well be wrong, mind you!
