9 across parses as L- eggy, but surely leggy is not sluggish,(leggy means long legs particularly on a girl ,or a plant that has grown too quickly and gone spindly, .laggy can be slang for sluggish but that doesn't parse? Any comments?

Collins online dictionary gives "leggish" as "sluggish; fatigued"

Leggy usually applies to a sportsman having tired legs
