Here are two awkward ones:-
29 Across - "A man has not continued" (2 words) (R-N -N)
(probably RAN ON, but there are 4 combinations of letters that would fit)

31 Across - "European - embracing no one!" (6) (D-N--H)
(would imagine DANISH but can't see it)

29 Un = Not (unsold, unused etc) and it's inside Ron, man.

N(o) I inside dash -

- = dash + N(o) 1 (inside)

Many thanks to you all for the two-word solution suggestions - think I'll go for Malone's "RON" one!
Any ideas about the "Danish" one would be appreciated.
