13a) Trick to make marsupials talk (4)
I have "-a-e"
23a) Stuck with 22 2? (6)
I have "-i-g-d"

I think that 22, 2 is "Golf Club."

Hi Kemlo.

23ac. Did the answers from clues 22 & 2 lead you to 'golf club'? Either way, could 'wedged' be a possible answer (if your 'i' was an 'e')?

Hi again.

13ac. ruse would be a good answer (sounds like kanga'roos') but your given letters would need revision.

Hi again.

I should have added .. a 'wedge' is a type of golf club usually used when the ball is resting on sand in the bunker.

I use it often :(

Thank you, Jim. I think that both of your answers will fit if I replace my "warrantied" with "guaranteed" - which must have been the setter's wish.
My compliments and repeated thanks.

Just a thought. As you are online you should have access to the Guardian online crosswords. Answers are readily available for the daily cryptics by pressing the 'cheat' buutton. Guesses can be confirmed with the check button.
