is 9 across 13 letters?

Is this the blankout on page 92 of the magazine ?

In good condition could be SOUND which may cross with ACQUIRE ?
I haven't finished the puzzle yet..... I usually save it for later in the week

That would make the answer to "confused" 13 letters I think

Well I'm completely disorientated by all this!

I'm not surprised andy :) So am I. Thanks for the disorientated. Problem is that this is a skeleton with only two blacks filled in . It is up to the solver to make a symmetrical puzzle and no letter counts are given. Fun eh ?

I'll just go and put my head in the fridge !!
