Have two left, both 5-letter words, which cross each other
at the middle letter. They are:
2 Down - "Disease a queen contracted" (E---T)
10 Across - "City previously in Lesotho" (L---S)
It looks like the second one may be LEEDS, but, at
present, cannot see why.

Lagos is correct
