I know it's 'covfefe' from Trump, but still, what are the mechanics? If 'eff off' is an anagram of 'fef', that means that 'Old fellah' (I imagine it's not the Arab fellas singular) around it is 'cove'. How does that work? Why is 'cove' an old fella? Who is he?

Cove IS an old-fashioned word for fellow, chap- nobody uses it much nowadays, but it was once quite normal/common.
