All I can come up with,and I don't know of what use it is: SOCIETE ANON.-French for an anonymous society or a joint stock company.
Uses most of your letters.

And thanks as well Joker - if I had done the obvious thing as you suggested and put in all the information I had if woudl have made it a lot easier for everyone else! Because the EV can be a bit tortured I tend not to but I will remember next time! Thanks again

Still struggling!
I have a couple of pairs -40a/1d, 24a & 29d but can't see anymore.
Please help with a few more pairs.

Also are any of the items on the 'manifest' singular rather than their better known plurals?

I now have 8 of the 9 elements of the theme but can't see where 'British' comes from. I suspect 10d Rib but ?
