6d (7) Time for ministerial broadcast - from gallery, with luck. I have g---l-t.
14a (7) Self-importance put on by sergeant major from Belfast. I have
--n-i-m and am assuming it ends in "ism".

"fee mostly" would be Fe, giving IRON for the first word. No obvious second one, though - miner perhaps?
