Final clue and I'm not able to fully parse it.

19a United in their colour worked out (8)

I have ?E?S?N?D and assume answer is REASONED which equates to worked out, but I can't quite see remainder of clue.

RED is there as a colour which could be taken as United's colour but there is still something missing.

Any ideas appreciated.

As one- united, inside Red, their colour.
