Me too Kepple. I have STAW as it's an anagram but it's meaning in Scots is a surfeit or stole. Nothing to do with scunner that I can see!

My Chambers Scottish dictionary seems to equate staw with scunner. Staw , 'a feeling of sickness or disgust caused eg by eating too much.'
The same dictionary gives 'scunner' as 'a feeling of disgust,sickness...'
