Fantastic! If that's the caliber of this crossword I think I'll give up now! Thank you.

Although I like Azed, i never bother with it when it's a "add your own clue" one ...........moreorless zero chance of winning with the "expert" crossword setters from main newspapers winning most times....

Stick with it, Liz. It gives me so much satisfaction to solve an AZED. Not really interested in the prize aspect, just love the solving.

Finished it - forget about writing a clue for 27a! - but 6d TRADING is nagging me because I can't fully parse it, so it may be wrong. Can anyone help with the wordplay, please?
A racket I'll yield to in sound commercial practice TRA?I?G
I can see commercial practice as a possible definition, and a/din maybe as sound, but that's it.

Excellent, I think that must be it. Din was obviously a distraction.

Many thanks.

I think perhaps it's actually the I in TRIG (sound) which is 'yielding' to A DIN (a racket) to produce TRADING (commercial practice).
