19, If memory serves me well, Neill, in the opera "Albert Herring", Albert was the son of a greengrocer.

All correct, Neill.

(Albert) Herring - greengrocer opera character
Stater - old Greek coin
Tailing - part of brick or beam embedded in a wall

Thanks skyewalker for confirmation of my thoughts and to Rusty also for your explanations. Never heard of Albert Herring ( greengrocer character) nor of the beam re wall etc.
