Each clue is for two answers.
Some clues have no definition and others have a superfluous word in between.
14/7. The first part is:
News format tailor made for A. Burnet? (8)

I just want to know what is the reference to Burnet.

Also someone who has solved this could give me an example of a clue without definition.

Thanks.

(Mr) A. Burnet was a prominent.... You'd have to be of a sufficient age to remember seeing him, regularly.

Kobnut ,for 11/3 I have two words - one for each answer. Only one of the pair of clues is missing a definition.
