I'm still struggling with the last two, especially the parsing......
A) Mr Olab, confused - the houseman? (3) T*M.
B) Exchange equal portions of catch for salmon (4) *E*A. Is it keta? If so, why?

B The 'catch' would be the 'take' - swap the first and second parts (Exchange equal portions) to give 'keta'.

Is it TOM? Tom (answer) + anagram of olab (bola) = tombola. Tombola is a type of bingo where house is called.....houseman. I still don't trust my answer though!

Just two left and any hints would be welcome:

14A Old poer - the ancient mariner - an outstanding looker (6) ???E?E

12D Lots practise religion leading to salvation's beginning (6) ???E?S -
I'm assuming the last letter is "salvation's beginnings" and think it might be ASSETS, but can't parse ASSET as being anything to do with practising religion.

The second letters of each intersect.

Sorry the first two words of 14A should be "Old poet" not "Old poer"!
