Morning all.
Yesterday the clue for Alpha Puzzle was, "Carer is left out of sunrise." Just got today's paper and the clue is ," Carer is left out of sunrise." Lol. Yesterday's answer is " Basic" and I have no idea why, but can only assume it will be same answer today unless you guys can come up with something else.

I think the answer is "nurse" = carer
Anagram of "sunrise" minus "is"

Presumably the wrong clue was given yesterday, if its answer is supposedly "basic".

'Carer is left out of sunrise' was asked here on Monday - I remember answering it then. I don't think I saw any posts yesterday (Tuesday) so I have no idea how Basic works. It seems strange that the Carer is back again on Wednesday!
