The clue is: A number putting up court equipment (3) I know it is either TEN or NET but which way round should it be?
Work after 100? Must be a catch! (3) Is that CON? O is the middle letter

Hi Phil!

I'd say it was "net" as it says a number "putting up" so the number should be backwards, giving you the "court equipment"

I'm guessing that it is a "Down" clue.
A number (ie ten )-and then - putting up court equipment. (net backwards).
If it was the other way round, I would have thought it would say "A number put up" rather than "putting up"

I bet you have a letter in place to prove me wrong.
I could go either way.

I think TEN fits the clue better than NET.
