Setting early this week as tomorrows commitmetns may delay posting.

Welcome to our weekly competition to compose a cryptic clue, to be judged by your fellow contestants.

You may enter as many clues as you like and everybody is welcome to have a go.

PLEASE PARSE YOUR CLUE (unless obvious). I for one have missed some great clues on account of shortage of time!

Everybody who enters may vote for their favourite clue - please include post number.
The entry with the most votes wins and its composer sets next week's competition.

Please post your clues by 12 noon UCT Friday 3rd March, when voting opens - deadline 8pm. that evening,

The setter has a deciding vote in the event of a tie and may change the rules if necessary.
It is customary for the setter to award an on-line prize when declaring the winner.

The answer to be clued this week is:

CANCELLATION

Have fun!

Voiding in men's room stall after first piece of pie (12)

voiding: CANCELLATION
men's room: CAN
stall: CELL
after first (,) piece of (the) pie: (R)ATION

I see that Chambers doesn't have "piece of the pie". Is it just an Americanism?
