If you put it where houses are, people complain that they are being turned out of their homes. If you put it where houses aren't, people complain that you're interfering with nature. Perhaps the phrase completion could be "...are never happy." or "...without breaking eggs." Don't try that at home folks, neither will be scored as correct.

I have Oriel for 11 and Calorie for 9. Can anyone please explain the wordplay in either of these.

I don't normally attempt the Listener, but have got some way with this one - 19a (T???MORE) is holding me up - I know at least one of these letters must be wrong - a hint would be welcome

Completion of the second set of instructions leaves a number of groups of letters that do not appear to be real words. Is that correct?

I've completed the puzzle and enjoyed it but I can't identify the second of the six items for the chop. Am I using the wrong dictionary or have I entered something wrongly, I wonder? What do others have?
