I'm certainly having difficulty in identifying the appropriate number of alternatives -- and especially for the leader of the group. Only a few of them seem to be decent matches.

They're not matches as such, more substitutes.

google the creator .... at one time he had about 40 variations for their names...all listed and then you should see them in your grid. They are not necessarily alternatives for 7 specifics...some of them could have more than one alternative and some none at all.

Gazzar, glad you got this finished. My 'help' was far less substantial than Kirky's, but I was trying hard not to give too much away!
